Pregnancy and positivity should go together. Due to hormonal changes inside body, pregnant women are at higher risk of having negative thoughts, fear feels and even depressing mind.

Expectation brings in a lot of anxiety, excessive worrying and the probability of failing lead to negative thinking which takes a toll on both mental and physical well-being and this might affect growing baby's health.

It’s very crucial to be positive and create a positive atmosphere around. A mother's state of mind directly connects with the life inside her and all the baby's developmental process depends on mother's mental health. 

It’s essential to control your mind to think and feel positive in all the three trimesters.This will certainly make the baby grow in a healthy way and will lessen the chance of any adversities to your baby's  brain and physical health.Hence, you ensure to drive in positive energies only towards you.

 1. Happy Morning

Morning shows the day, that's an old but a fact in reality. Wake up with a smile on your face. Get a place where you can absorb some morning sunshine. It’s not only a rich source of Vitamin D but also have the ability to energize to start your day afresh.

Experts say, yoga breathing exercises are good in pregnancy, which make you feel rejuvenated and make your body system to work perfectly and have the power of throwing out all the negativity.

Plan your day, take some time out to have a walk, in a much less crowded place in wherein you get fresh air. This will fill in a lot of motivation, to take the day as it comes, to live in the moment and at the same time to keep your focus on imbibing happiness and face the challenges during this phase.

2. Soul food

Eat healthy and feel healthy! A wholesome diet to be taken, consulting your gynecologist or dietician which not only fill your tummy but also give you enough energy which will uplift your mood. 

Fresh fruit juices are best. Tat will ensure calming your taste buds and this form of water intake will increase the level of water inside you, and more fluid make your baby swim happily.

3. Talk to your Baby

It's most amazingly beautiful way to connect to your little one even before he comes out. Make this your daily routine. Give your baby yours touch and feel experienced. This is also a mode to empower your thoughts that will get pass on to your little one through you. 

Babies do respond to mother's voice and touch, they does it by movement and changing their positions. You can create a lovely bond by singing your favourite song, write a poem or by maintaining a journal of your journey and express your feelings during this phase and keep it documented to cherish later in life.

4. Self Musing

This is one of best ways to feel about your self and embracing motherhood journey. You must live this wonderful phase and feel great about it.

A simple head massage, face clean up or even pedicure/manicure can do wonders to your mood. It brings in freshness to your self and body, which  reflects on your face. This will enhance the maternity glow which is already there.

 5. Accessibility & Delegation

It gets really difficult to manage things on your own especially when you get heavier and be little lazy to move. Its absolutely okay to feel so. Get help of your house help to organize  your daily need and keep everything ready and within your reach.Family and close ones can also support in getting your requisites, or take you for routine check up etc. 

This is the time when everyone will be more than happy to help you, so you can do some delegation and feel relaxed a bit.

6. Care for some shopping

Stay at home, surf your favorite space and enjoy. Women love shopping no matter what. Isn't it ? Anyways online  shopping rocks! You can peep at comfortable maternity dresses for your upcoming maternity shoot. 

Check out stuffs for your baby, like cloth diapers, feeding bottle, seasonal clothes, caps, socks, mittens beforehand if you wish to, else you can keep it in your cart till your baby arrives.This will give a positive feel and a sense of belonging in this phase.

7. Stay Informed

When it comes to your baby, then every thing related should be apt and proper. Its important to be updated on baby's growth and development stage week wise. Going through on various stages, will prepare you mentally and would be easier to cope with new life, as you know what is next. 

Its important to educate yourself and your partner about parenting. Do some research, spend time with your mummy friends, know their experiences, read on expert opinions.

8. Plan get together with friends

Friends are stress busters. A good laugh, yum food, lot of gossips and fun times with best friends is really what is needed in those days.

 9. Connect with your Parents

Parents are always there for us. Get them involved in yours decision making, seek their valuable advise as they are experienced and they think the best for you. 

Call them over phone, talk your heart out and feel easy.

10. Partner by your side

It's not only the women who is pregnant, but it's both of you and your partner. Spend quality and cozy time together. 

Talk about your baby, think of name options and future ahead. This will give immense satisfaction and a sense of security.
