Life is a journey full of struggle and hardship, a part of it is motherhood, which comes with its own set of happiness and difficulties.
Life as a child, as a teenager, as a daughter, as a wife and as a mother are different role performed by a woman and are different from each other. Motherhood seems to complete the cycle of life and it has its own set of challenges which we accept and endure with open hands and a smiling face.
The tough period of nine months, a mother has to undergo a lot of trouble and pain which she bears with all her heart and with a big happy smile of giving birth to another life.
Few mothers even have to face pre pregnancy complications and social and emotional challenges as well. But I am sure, all pain disappears when the mother finally holds her little bundle of joy in her arms, this moment is the happiest moment in a mother's life.
A baby changes a woman's life completely. After the arrival of the baby, that moment onwards, a woman's duty starts as a responsible mother trying to give her baby the best things in life, sacrificing all her own desires and cravings. All of a sudden, all her own needs and desires become trivial in front of her baby's smiles, cries, playfulness, tantrums and all their innocent activities.
A mother evolves with her child and nurtures the child with all her warmth and comfort.
I, as mother, am no exception to all the physical, emotional and social hardships and challenges that a mother bears and overcomes with sheer strong willpower and determination.
To all mothers and would - be - mothers, this accomplishment of carrying a baby has no match with any other achievements in our life.
We know, pregnancy is like a roller coaster ride with its own ups and downs. But beside this, a woman should enjoy her pregnancy with brave heart, strong hands and a smiling face. It is her smiling face which will make the baby in her womb smile and stay happy.
